A serious warning to the European bureaucracy

The best political invention since the end of the Second World War, European integration, is suffering from a flu with a very complicated cure. The diagnosis is overwhelming for companies in any sector, from agricultural to energy businesses. An excess of bureaucratic paperwork in the name of directives that are executed from the top down and that end up reaching the citizen through national, state, provincial and local bodies, which fall into redundancy and complexity.
