Princess Diana and her friend Dodi Fayed were killed in a car accident in August 1997. The two were being chased by paparazzi at the time. The series focuses on the cause of the accident, the time after, but also the enormous pressure from the paparazzi that Diana suffered at the time. The story is about a French detective and a British fan of Diana who starts a blog: Who Killed Lady Di?

The creators, Pierre Laugier and Julien Lilti, think the series shows ‘fascinating images from behind the scenes’. “Americans have John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe, and we have Princess Diana, they are equally important.” It is not yet clear when the series will be released.
