Croatian goalkeeper Andrija Vukovic, who was transferred to Balıkesirspor in 2015 and protected the team’s goal until 2022, made a rebellious post on her Instagram account.


The experienced goalkeeper, who stated that he wanted to be the president of Balıkesirspor with his post, also reacted to the club management. Vukovic also stated in his post that he will be more successful than the current administration.

Andrija Vukovic said in his Instagram post, “Many of you are looking for me, so let me tell you. I do not want to be a coach. One day when I return, I will be the president of Balıkesirspor. I will definitely not be worse than these amateurs. I will definitely not rob the club like the others. They paid small money and took the big money that belonged to the player.” …” he said.


In 2015, Vukovic was transferred from Croatian team RNK Split to Balıkesirspor for a transfer fee of 150 thousand Euros. The goalkeeper, who played in the red-white jersey until 2022, played 164 matches here. The 40-year-old goalkeeper donated 455 thousand liras to the club in 2019 to lift the club’s transfer ban.
