A quarter of Flemish young people are not up to date with the digital jargon, according to the annual digimeter of research center imec. This group of young people has difficulty understanding digital terms such as the cloud, 5G or two-factor authentication. According to professor of new communication technologies Lieven De Marez (imec and UGent), there is a major challenge in boosting the digital skills of young people.
