Summer is over and… Dante Balestra (Gassmann) he is ready to return to teaching philosophy at the Liceo Da Vinci in Rome. The professor attends Anita (Claudia Pandolfi), without the knowledge of their respective children Simon (Nicolas Maupas) e Manuel (Damiano Gavino), also ready to return to Balestra’s class. Let’s meet again Luna, Matteo in crisisthe boyfriend who plans to enroll in an acting course, and Laura, Simone’s ex. In this second season directed by Alessandro Casale (replaces Alessandro D’Alatri who left us prematurely last May), you know better Mimmo (Domenico Cuomo), the boy who in the previous season was in the juvenile prison of Naples and which Dante managed to have entrusted in semi-freedom to the library of Leonardo Da Vinci. Mimmo doesn’t have time to breathe some freedom when he finds himself in the middle of a case of bullying. Simone witnesses what happened and will try in every way to defend him. However, the matter is serious.
Is the relationship between Dante and Anita solid?
The teacher must look after his students and his private life. He is living a love story with Anita, «a bungling and restless womanwhich doesn’t calm down even by having a peaceful relationship with Dante”, he describes her Claudia Pandolfi. The relationship between Dante and Anita is a bit shaky. The writers needed to spice things up between the two. He returns after years from New York Nicola (Thomas Trabacchi), a successful manager who we discover had an important history with Anita. The two meet after many years. He is divorced and has a daughter in a wheelchair, Violawho Dante will be able to convince to return to school, unaware that she is the daughter of one of his partner’s exes.
Nicola is not the only one who will bring havoc to the Balestra family: Floriana also returns to Rome intact (Christian Filangieri), Dante’s ex-wife, who decides to live under the same roof as Anita, Manuel and their son Simone. How will the coexistence go?

On Dante Balestra’s school desks they are added Nina (Margherita Aresti, the Viola of We are legend), a girl of Polish origin with a complicated past, towards whom Manuel feels a certain attraction, the African Rayan, who loves football more than school, and Viola, Nicola’s daughter, who lost the use of her legs after an accident and lives with her father in a hotel in Rome.
