E-mails have previously been part of their service for Telia’s broadband customers. Telia’s email has not been received for new broadband contracts since March last year. Norwegian Fjordmail will be the service provider for old e-mails in the future.

Vuorinen points out that many of those who used Telia’s e-mail have switched to other service providers. According to him, Fjordmail’s service will be a great alternative for those who want to keep their old email address and avoid advertisements. The quality of the service will also improve.

Through Fjordmail, customers are promised 10 gigabyte email boxes instead of 500 megabytes. In addition, backups of deleted messages are kept for 14 days. However, the service will also have an estimated monthly price of 4.99 euros per email address. The e-mail terms of use and the Privacy Policy will also change.

The customer does not have to use Fjordmail’s service, but in this case the old email address will disappear.
