with videoThe last episode of this season of Buy without looking is closed with a bang. This time no adjustments to the wish list or herringbone floors and steel doors, Rob and Lotte from Den Bosch approach it completely differently.

Rob (28) and Lotte (25) were very enthusiastic when they were told that the team of Buy without looking would help them in their search for a new home. They have been looking for a home for a year, have already made about forty viewings and twenty bids, but still live as ‘students’ with two other housemates in Den Bosch.

The two now need a place for the two of them, but there is one problem that the couple can’t handle very well: Lotte wants to continue living in bustling Den Bosch, Rob prefers to live in one of the quieter villages around it. That is why the two leave that choice to the broker, who is sent on the road with a budget of 390,000 euros. Their further wish list? A house of 100 square meters, three bedrooms, a garden, bath and handy shed.

Pretty busy

Where other couples regularly went for a herringbone floor and steel doors this season, Lotte and Rob take a completely different path. Van Lotte likes the decoration of the house ‘nice and busy’, with cool prints and colored furniture. Contractor Bob is in any case happy with it. †I love it‘, he responds to the plans of the couple.

Due to the current shortages in the housing market, there is extra pressure on real estate agents. To make that pressure tangible with Rob and Lotte, the couple is given a ‘concession clock’. It counts down from 56 days. Didn’t the real estate agents buy a house before that time? Then a ‘concession meeting’ takes place. “Then either a bedroom has to be removed, or the search area has to be larger, or no garden on the south,” says contractor Bob.

Fortunately, it doesn’t have to come to that, because Rob and Lotte can sign for their new place before the counter reaches zero. From that moment on, the tension rises, because the big question now is: where will the couple end up? “I almost feel like a toddler who is going on a school trip for the first time, I am that nervous,” says Rob.

Surprised

The brokers eventually managed to find a home in Rossum. Lotte, who would have preferred to stay in her trusted Den Bosch, is pleasantly surprised with the spacious house in a village further on, which meets almost all the wishes of the couple. Lotte walks into the bathroom with all hopes, where only a shower can be found. “No bath, unfortunately, but that was just a wish,” she says slightly disappointed.

But that disappointment gives way to joy later in the episodes. Because Rob and Lotte had released an extra 10,000 euros in budget for the decoration of the house, the house ultimately meets all the wishes of the couple. Lotte has her bath, Rob has his wood stove, and there is a green kitchen, pink sofa, busy tiles in the bathroom, a leather staircase and floral wallpaper in the living room.

The couple can clearly see that they are happy with it Buy without lookingadventure they have embarked on. ,,Wow, this is not normal”, Lotte shouts. Also Rob really doesn’t know what he sees. “It is real, but really beyond expectations. All I can say is beautiful, thank you.”
