Prime Minister Alexander De Croo (Open Vld) and Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib (MR) met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kiev on Saturday. De Croo and Zelensky have signed a joint statement in which Belgium joins an initiative to finance grain shipments from Ukrainian ports to the south. Why do Western leaders risk life and limb for something that can simply be done by telephone?
