Reporter of the Norwegian public broadcasting company NRK Emil Gukild got into an embarrassing situation when he participated in the Marcialonga 70 km cross-country race in Italy.
The grueling sports performance made Gukildi so hard that he defecated inside his ski suit. At that point, there were still eight kilometers to the finish line.
– I pooped in my pants. And there was a lot of stuff, he explains to NRK.
Gukild said excrement ran down his legs as he lurched forward. He was afraid that other people would smell what had happened to him.
The reporter crossed the finish line in 3:41:56. Instead of being happy about his great performance, he had to find a place to wash himself.
To Gukildi’s chagrin, his colleague was at the finish line with a camera in hand and took pictures as the embarrassed skier staggered forward with his legs spread.

– There were thousands of people there, and as soon as you reach the finish line, you have to stand in line. It didn’t smell good, Gukild recalls.
The Norwegian pushed the most direct way to the hotel and to the shower, threw his dirty ski suit into a plastic bag and tied it tightly.
