To achieve deception they claim that they cannot communicate directly with their regular phone due to supposed problems with their terminal and that they cannot receive calls.

Faced with this situation, the victims agree to make immediate transfers as requested. Finally, when the transaction has already been carried out and the injured parties manage to really talk to their children, they realize that they really have been the victims of a hoax and they can no longer cancel the transfer. In recent weeks there have been various scams in different parts of the country with which criminals have managed to defraud amounts ranging between 2,000 and 26,000 euros
In case of receiving a communication of this type, the National Police recommends stay calm and make sure before making any payment that the person you are contacting is really a family member.
