A new barbecue restaurant with live music will open at this location

In the Zoetermeerse Dorpsstraat, three restaurants have closed their doors permanently. But new things are coming back, such as a vegetarian restaurant. At Dorpsstraat 114A there will also be a new hotspot where we can enjoy good food and listen to live music.

It’s no joke: Le Club BBQ will open on April 1: an atmospheric restaurant with a medieval look where the most delicious dishes will be prepared on a large grill.

Every night a different style of music

Owner Dino Veldkamp noticed that there is a need at Zoetermeerders for good food in combination with live music. “No background music, but live bands, singers and artists on stage,” explains Dino. “We are going to use a different style of music every day. Jazz and blues on Wednesday, Latin salsa on Thursday and R&B and swing beat on Sunday afternoon. Just like at disco De Marathon in The Hague, where I used to work.”

On the menu

We will soon find out what you can expect from a barbecue restaurant on the menu of Le Club BBQ. From steaks to spare ribs and from prawns to entrecôte. “For vegetarian guests we will be serving veggie burgers, among other things, for people who prefer not to eat from the barbecue, we will soon have very tasty pastas on the menu.” In the open kitchen you will soon be able to see the chefs at work at the grill.

Deck with lounge sofas

From 22:00 the tables are moved aside and a live performance by one or more artists follows on the stage in the middle of the restaurant. “At the back of the Class by Jofel restaurant, we are going to decorate our terrace,” says Dino. On the waterfront there will be a platform with lounge sofas for about fifteen people. We will decorate the terrace attractively with LED lighting and beautiful furniture. From the parking lot you will be able to see that there is a nice store.” The new restaurant will also set up a small terrace on the catering square.
