Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik had harsh words about Djokovic and his family on live broadcast after his microphone was accidentally turned on.
Dodik had been involved in organizing the Srpska Open tennis tournament, where Djokovic, hired as the main star, was unexpectedly eliminated in the quarterfinals. This did not please Dodik.
– I can tell you that these Djokovics are really difficult bastards. When doing business with them… huh huh. They are real gypsies, Dodik would say on the RTS TV channel.

Dodik later published a statement in which he regretted his words. However, the man’s statements were a bit questionable as an apology.
