A counter move came from Mustafa Keser, with whom Bülent Ersoy filed a 1 lira compensation lawsuit for allegedly attacking his personal rights. Saying, “He insulted me by calling me ‘Kurdo’ on live broadcast,” Keser filed a lawsuit against Ersoy for 1 TL.
Bülent Ersoy claimed that his partner, Mustafa Keser, in the program named “No One’s Benefits”, said to him, “They make you a divan, not a diva, you don’t know anything about it”. Stating that Keser insulted him and attacked his personal rights with these words, Ersoy filed a lawsuit for non-pecuniary damage of 1 lira. In her petition, the artist claimed that she was traumatized in her inner world and that her reputation was shaken in front of the society.
AGAINST ACTION
Mustafa Keser also responded to this lawsuit with a counterclaim. Keser, who applied to the Istanbul Civil Court of First Instance through his lawyer Kazım Pınarbaşı, claimed that Bülent Ersoy discriminated against, insulted and humiliated him by calling him “Kurdo” in the program. Stating that his personal rights were damaged, Mustafa Keser demanded 1 lira non-pecuniary damage from Bülent Ersoy.
SHARE THE PHOTO OF THEY TRIED
Bülent Ersoy’s close friend, Mehmet Yüzak, shared the scene where they were tried in court due to a fight they got involved in in the 1980s, with the following note on his social media account: “A journalist harassed my Diva with his hand while we were having our dinner in Kuşadası and I beat her… The result the situation in the picture. Pressure from Ankara to imprison Diva. It’s like we sold our country. Divam Women’s Ward to Söke, I to Kuşadası. We had no fault. We were unfairly judged badly.” (Liberty)
