The young man ended up on the C-66 road as he passed through Forallac, where he was run over by an SUV
A Underage motorcyclist passed away this Tuesday when leaving a private motocross circuit located next to the C-66 highway as it passes through Forallac (Girona) and falling on that road, where he was run over by an SUV, according to the Catalan Traffic Service (SCT).
The accident notice occurred at 09.51 hours and the Mossos d’Esquadra now investigate the circumstances in which this minor, a resident of Barcelona, lost his life.
The Catalan police activated four patrols as a result of the accident, which was also attended by two Fire Brigade crews from the Generalitat and two ambulances from the Medical Emergency System (SEM).
The C-66 road was closed in both directions as a result of the accident and was reopened at 12:55 p.m., once the situation on the road had returned to normal.
With this victim they are already 86 people who have died since the beginning of the year in a traffic accident on the interurban network of Catalonia, of which about twenty were motorcyclists.
