The treasures of Stockholm’s most mysterious fashion collector, Anna Alexandersson, are now up for auction. – We never dreamed that someone in Sweden could have such an exceptional fashion collection, describes Johanna Fock from Bukowskis.
The Bukowskis
A complete and unexpected surprise awaited the dentist from Stockholm Anna Alexandersson behind the front door.
The experts from Bukowskis, who evaluate fashion and design for their work, gasped when they saw the Stockholm woman’s fashion sanctuary in its full extent.
There was a collection in front of us, the existence of which was previously unknown in the field. Hundreds of boxes of coveted gems of the fashion world from, among others, Hermès, Chanel and Gucci. Unused luxury bags, shoes and dresses straight from the catwalk with price tags of 10,000 euros.
A million euros is pure luxury, which has not been bought for use, but only for the Collector’s own secret and to be pampered.
What kind of person collects a fashion collection of 1,500 pieces that would fill an entire museum? And why were the clothes in their boxes?
– Anna probably wore her clothes sparingly. All the clothes were in perfect condition, and many products even had their price tags in place, describes the Bukowskis’ fashion expert Johanna Fock For Iltalehti.
It is clear that the Collector must have been a passionate fashion person. A petite female person with precise taste and preference and whose shoe size is 37 and clothing size XS. It is a surprising coincidence that the most famous Anna in the fashion world, legendary in Vogue Anna Wintour is almost the same size in both shoes and clothes.
The surprising thing is that, unlike her namesake Anna Wintour, Stockholm’s Anna Alexandersson’s profession was not related to fashion in any way. He was a dentist who owned his own practice in Stockholm’s Östermalm, Birger Jarlsgatan 2, and ran his practice in the same place for 40 years, retiring just before his death.
Anna’s numerous regular customers loved their skilled and gentle dentist, but not many of them knew what secret was hidden in Anna’s home.

The value of the most expensive product is 120,000 euros
Anna Alexandesson’s private collection includes numerous Hermès bags. The most valuable of them is the true collector’s rarity Himalaya Kelly, which is made from the leather of the Nile crocodile.
– The price estimate of the bag is around 1.2–1.5 million Swedish kronor, (around 120,000 euros) As far as I know, this is the first time that this bag has been sold at auction in Sweden, says Johanna Fock.
Bukowskis experts were surprised how meticulously Anna kept the original receipts, the place of purchase and even the name of the seller. It made it easier to put the collection in marketable condition.
– The collection exceeded all expectations. We couldn’t even dream that such a treasure trove would be found in Sweden. This is an exceptional collection in every respect, as it is well sorted, and the items were in their original packaging. Anna really had a genuine and burning love for fashion and beauty, Johanna Fock sums up.
Direct number for Chanel
Anna was a very private person, and she didn’t flaunt herself in public. However, his passion for fashion made him move in the fashion events of his hometown Stockholm.
Anna was interested in fashion since she was a child, because her father ran a clothing store. However, Anna trained as a dentist and ran her own dental company in Östermalm in the same place for 40 years. In the 90s, Anna’s persistent collection of fashion collection began.

Anna had direct connections to fashion houses such as Chanel and Louis Vuitton, and bought rarities seen on the catwalk, which might only have been handcrafted.
Anna had very precise taste. If he liked a product, he bought it in all colors.
Anna’s approximately 25 years of accumulating a fashion collection made her a private fashion historian in the same way. Through her now discovered collection, a picture is drawn of a woman extremely dedicated to her hobby, who was ready to put down a million euros and leave the world with her curated vision of the recent history of fashion.
– My favorite is Chanel’s famous shopping basket from the fall/winter 2014 collection designed by Karl Lagerfeld. I like the playfulness of the basket and the fact that something as ordinary as a shopping basket can be turned into a collector’s dream and a truly sought-after luxury product with leather straps. The price estimate for the product is 120,000 kroner, i.e. about 11,0000 euros, Johanna Fock calculates.
