A merciless decision from Krista Pärmäkoski

Pärmäkoski does not go to North America.

Krista Pärmäkoski will not ski in the World Cup in February in Canmore, Canada and in Minneapolis, USA, The Ski Association informs. His place in the team will be taken by Johanna Matintalo.

The Canmore and Minneapolis races will be held from the 9th to the 13th. and 17.–18. February.

Before his competition break, Pärmäkoski will still participate in the WC in Vantaa next weekend.

The Finnish champion’s season has been difficult. He is only 19th in the World Cup overall points.

Last weekend at the Goms World Cup, Pärmäkoski finished 38th in the 20 km free combined start race. The difference to the top was more than three minutes.

The 38th place is the lowest in Pärmäkoski’s career on normal trips.
