The arrested man, who allegedly assaulted the three girls during the vacation periods that go from 2016 to December 2022, will provide them with alcohol, inciting them to drink to annul their will.
The National Police has arrested a man Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona) for allegedly sexually assaulting to his three younger nieces of age for several years, specifically, in the holiday periods that go from 2016 to December 2022.
As reported this Monday by the National Police in a statement, the sexual assaults on the three girls, who they were 11, 13 and 16 years old at the time of the facts, occurred after the detainee provide them with alcohol, inciting them to drink until the wee hours of the morning to annul their will.
Later, the man took advantage of the situation to sexually abuse them when they went to sleep.
The minors suspected that their uncle had sexually assaulted them since they woke up the next day without clothes and with pain in the vaginal area.
The investigation began in January in the Family and Women’s Care Unit (UFAM) of the Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police of Madrid, following the complaint filed earlier this year by the mother of the victims.
The inquiries made it possible to identify the alleged perpetrator of the events, who lived in an apartment in Vilanova i la Geltrú.
With the participation of the Provincial Judicial Police Brigade of Barcelona and the Judicial Police Group of the Vilanova i la Geltrú Local Police Station, the agents arrested this man and proceeded to search his home.
The investigators found that the reported attacks took place during the vacation periods between 2016 and the present -the last attack occurred on December 17-, at the home of the alleged perpetrator, taking advantage of the trips of his three nieces to this Barcelona town.
