People who look outside see plenty of sun. In the province it will stay that way today. It will be about 23 degrees and there is a soft wind. There is a strong wind on the coast.
Cloud factories along the coast
“There are many showers in the North Sea,” says NH-Weerman Jan Visser. “You can also see them hanging at a great distance. They are real cloud factories.”
Especially in the surroundings of Petten and in the direction of Texel, it is now buzzing. “But there is little going on in the rest of the province.” A single shower can fall in the night. Yet that is not so bad, the weatherman knows.
Showers approaching
That weather will be very different tomorrow, says Visser. The day starts with clouds and it will be around 21 to 22 degrees. In the afternoon a shower can fall, but it is dry in most places.
“There are hefty showers from tomorrow evening,” says Visser. “They can be accompanied by thunderstorms and gusts of wind, possibly up to 75 kilometers per hour. The trees still have leaves, so you will notice that, but there is no real fall weather yet.”
