A fire in a business premises on Witte Paal in Schagen released a lot of smoke this evening. Several fire brigade units have been called to extinguish the fire.
The first report of the fire was made around 9:05 p.m. Due to the smoke development and the size of the building, the safety region has scaled up to a ‘very large fire’.
Two hours later the fire is still not out. The firefighters are trying to prevent the fire from becoming a raging fire. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
