There was a large-scale operation by the Berlin police at the Amazon Tower on Thursday evening.
According to unconfirmed information, something should have fallen down on an outside elevator of the 140-meter-high building between the Warschauer Straße and Ostbahnhof stations.
The Berlin police then closed the bridge between Mühlenstrasse and Revaler Strasse at around 8:30 p.m. and the federal police closed the Warschauer Strasse station, so that the S-Bahn, tram and buses did not stop at the Warschauer Strasse station for the duration of the operation.
After an hour, the all-clear could be given because there was no danger to life. All bans have been lifted. Much ado about one small thing.
