In a house in the Frisian Oosterwolde there was an explosion at the beginning of the evening. One person was said to have suffered burns.
According to Omrop Friesland it concerns a gas explosion on the second floor of a flat on the Gijenham. There are thirteen homes in the building.
The explosion caused cracks in the walls. The building is evacuated. It is not clear how many people have to be evacuated. The fire service is deploying several units to the incident and has called in a special team to assess the risks of collapse.
