A look inside the new C&A flagship store in Amsterdam

C&A’s flagship store in Amsterdam has moved. The branch has recently been located on the Kalverstraat, one of the most well-known shopping streets in the Dutch capital. FashionUnited took a look around the store.

The new location has a 1,200 square meter sales area spread over two floors. The retailer’s new logo can be seen on the facade of the building. The press release states that the fashion company strives for the image of a “modern, inclusive brand”.

Informative texts on sustainability are a recurring element in the new store. In this way, C&A wants to draw attention to the more sustainable clothing in its collections and the brand’s efforts in this area. The company’s omnichannel approach was also highlighted. For example, there is a Click&Collect service and there are QR codes on the price tags that lead to the C&A online shop. To complete the omnichannel experience, consumers can also use the store’s free WiFi. Other innovations include a self-checkout counter and the use of large photos inside the store, which provide orientation for customers and facilitate the shopping process.
