According to Pekka Virra, Kristian Vesalainen has found a home at HIFK. HIFK’s Kristian Vesalainen is one of Leijoni’s first-timers in the Karelian tournament. Despite his young age, the 24-year-old striker has already won and seen quite a lot in his career. The striker’s trophy cabinet includes, among others, the 18-year-old world championship (2016), the Finnish championship in Kärpi (2018) and the Swedish championship in Frölunda in the spring of 2016.
