Three people –the twins Dolores and Pilar Vázquez and Isaac Gil, who confessed to the crime – will be tried in the Barcelona Court starting next October 9. A jury must decide if they are guilty or not. The prosecution, which demands 24 years in prison for each, maintains that the two women coordinated with Isaac, Pilar’s boyfriend, to supposedly end the life of Pedro, Dolores’ boyfriend.
The WhatsApp audio where they talk about chloroform (in the end it was not used) was sent by Pilar to her boyfriend. In those 54 seconds, as in other audios and messages, you can see the coldness with which the accused talked about how to kill Pedro and when to do it. As that audio announced, Pedro ended up being murdered on the night of that Friday, July 9 to Saturday, July 10, 2021 in the house of Dolores, his romantic partner, in Sabadell.
This recording and other similar ones, such as the one in which Pilar asks Isaac to remember to put a blanket in the car (Pedro’s body was found by the police wrapped in a blanket), and four videos recorded by two neighbors of the property through the door peephole are the main evidence of the charge.
