A journey through the voice of Latin America: see the documentary inspired by the songs of Víctor Heredia

Victor Heredia will have a documentary inspired by his life and work, as one of the most popular and emblematic artists of Argentina and Latin America. The film that will be released this October 5 delves into the influence of the social and political reality of Latin America on Heredia’s creations during the last half century.

On Tuesday, October 3, the Avant Premier of the documentary was held at the Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK) of Buenos Aires. The production of this film has the support of the Liberarte Foundationwhich has been promoting culture and art in the country for more than 20 years.

In addition to delving into Heredia’s life, this documentary is also a reflection of the Liberarte Foundation’s commitment to Latin American culture and history. In it are the testimonies of great figures of music, such as Teresa Parodi, León Gieco, Silvio Rodríguez and Joan Manuel Serratthe production promises to be a mosaic of voices that have marked the musical identity of the region.

The main axis of this foundation is to achieve a humanistic and progressive approach by promoting the free circulation of ideas and the practice of different artistic disciplines, always with commitment and social awareness.

Luis Schenone, at the head of the Liberarte Foundation, was a fundamental factor in the making of this documentary. In addition, under his leadership the foundation has organized various initiatives, such as the “21 springs in democracy” exhibition, aimed at young people born between 1983 and 1984, reflecting the entity’s commitment to youth and democracy.
