Musician Ilkka Ihamäki says in the Aki Linnanahde Talk Show podcast that you had to pick up the party noise and the guitar right away or not at all.

Radio personality and singer-songwriter Ilkka Ihamäki known as Court Musician Ilkka. Ihamäki has parodied well-known songs on Suomipop for over 10 years.
Ihamäki tells Aki Linnanahde’s talk show in the latest episode, what kind of feedback and discussion his songs have sparked. He tells the presenter Aki Linnanahtethat the subjects of his spiky songs have generally responded “pretty well” to the songs.
– I have tried to keep some rats. However, many of these public figures I’ve become attached to are pretty tough guys. But of course I have also come to understand that even under the hard shell, something can get through the protection quite easily. However, it is not my intention to directly bully people in that way. It would actually be a pretty boring feeling if you always put yourself above others, says Ihamäki.
A song made in August 2022 about the then Prime Minister Sanna Marini’s party rant was also apt to arouse discussion. Sanna again -song was covered by Teflon Brothers Fuck off– from the hit. In the song, Ihamäki sang how “Sanna is hot again and the celebrity wing gang is hot”.
Ihamäki describes the conversation generated by the song as colorful. Under the radio channel’s social media publication, the discussion got off to a flying start, according to him.
– And that song was no longer in the center, nor what was sung in it. It was a text that I wrote quite quickly, because the topic was such that it had to be tackled immediately or not at all. I thought very carefully about certain turns of phrase, so that, for example, it doesn’t claim any assumptions based on the pictures seen from these parties, says Ihamäki.
