A homage to the sky: DoDo launches Moon&Sun

Along with two icons of its precious universe, the sun and the moon, DoDo explores for the first time the use of semi-precious stones, specifically smoky quartz and moonstone. New pieces of jewelry are created by fusing rose gold, diamonds and semi-precious stones with a savoir-faire between dream, mystery and reality.

The sun, the warmth, the light. Symbol of vitality and passion. DoDo sets them in a pavé setting of brown diamonds on burnished gold and gives them a rose gold background. Accompanied by Smoky Quartz, a variety of brownish-grey quartz that dispels anxiety, depression and negativity. But not only that: DoDo also embellishes its well-known sun pendant with brown diamonds, which shine out from its center. An eye-catching shine.

The moon, the sensuality, the mystery. A symbol of cyclicality and transformation. DoDo places it on a rose gold background in the waning phase, but as a pavé of white diamonds on rhodium-plated gold. The moonstone, it goes without saying, is the associated gemstone. From the group of feldspars with a milky-white body, the moonstone is said to support new beginnings, give inner strength and strengthen one’s own intuition and inspiration.

Two rings with a sun or moon on a slightly curved rose gold base can be combined in a sophisticated way or worn as a single piece.

There are also two designs for the earrings. With a leverback clasp and sun or moon pendants made of diamonds, they are designed as single and combination earrings. More casual is the model on a single rose gold wire with faceted moonstone and rose gold Lilliputian moon beads or with faceted smoky quartz and rose gold Lilliputian sun beads.

The adjustable bracelets, fitted with a nylon core, string together moonstone or smoky quartz beads, separated by small tubular sections in rose gold. The white diamond moon pendant is always paired with the Lilliputian sun, while the brown diamond sun pendant is always paired with the Lilliputian moon. The mix of elements, the use of semi-precious stones and the choice of associated symbols make clear the play of opposites on these bracelets, which enter the DoDo “cosmos” with a particular charm of great novelty.

The same goes for the necklaces, which mix moonstone and smoky quartz beads instead. The version that combines pearls and chain brings with it moon and lilliputian sun. The round neck model, the most precious because it combines all the elements, reproduces the most radiant of the skies on the décolleté. Available in a variety of lengths and both adjustable, these necklaces can be worn individually or in pairs.
