A woman of foreign nationality has deceased this Sunday when rushing down a ravine when doing the Coll del Verdet route to climb Pedraforcain the Barcelona municipality of Saldes (Bergadà).
The Generalitat Bombers have reported that the victim was in a group, with three other people, who are unharmed. The emergency corps has been notified minutes before eleven o’clock in the morning of the accident, so it has activated a helicopter of the group of special performances in which a doctor from the Medical Emergency System (SEM) has also traveled.
The team has arrived at the scene of the accident shortly before half past eleven and has not been able to do anything for the woman’s life. Two officers then stayed guarding the body while the rest accompanied the victim’s three companions to the Guardiola park in Berguedà, where they received Psychological Support.

The Firefighters helicopter has also transferred members of the Mossos Mountain Unit to the accident site for the regulatory procedures and, subsequently, members of the police and the special action group that were guarding the body have rescued the corpse with the help of the apparatus crane.
