Vaasa Palloseura’s goal match Kalle Multanen told the bad news on Friday.
It is very likely that Multanen’s games have been played from the 2023 Veikkausliiga season.
– During the spring, I have had to play with pains, which, in retrospect, have been harder than what I have agreed to admit to myself. In practice, I’ve been playing even though I can’t run properly. A week ago, I was supposed to get cortisone shots so that I could play normally in the next game. Magnetic images revealed the seriousness of the situation.
– In May, there is an operation ahead, where both legs will have to be operated on. After that, months of rehabilitation are expected. The rehabilitation will certainly be long, and there is no exact information on the time of return. However, I know that I will return. I haven’t scored my last goal yet, Multanen wrote in his Instagram post.
Multanen, 34, had time to play in the first three matches of the Veikkausliiga season.
The loss is hard for the people of Vaasa. It has only one point from three matches. Multanen scored 15 goals for VPS in the league last season.
