After Haaland’s signing for City, the Borussia Dortmund reacted almost instantly and formalized the hiring of Karim Adeyemi, that comes from the same team in which the Norwegian ‘exploded’: the RB Salzburg. The German club will pay 30 million for the services of the young star. Nevertheless, there is an unexpected protagonist in all this gossip

the modest SpVgg Unterhaching plays in the German regional league (4th Division). Between 2012 and 2018, this humble club had among its ranks Karim Adeyemi, who signed him after having been in the Bayern academy. The club eventually sold him to RB Salzburg for around 3M after highlighting in German youth football.

As confirmed by the German media ‘BR24’the club was assured a clause that provided benefits of 22% on a future sale of Adeyemi. Therefore, “Unterhaching could expect a cash injection of at least 6.75 million euros. With the payment of bonuses, this sum could be increased by a further 1.35 million euros to 8.1 million euros”as reported by the media.

“I will not give exact figures, but the agreement will be of a magnitude that will open completely different possibilities for the future of the club, both economically and structurally.”Manfred Schwabl, president of the SpVgg, told the magazine ‘Euro am Sonntag’ a few months ago.
