The fire, these same sources report, is very “appalling” but it has not caused any injuries and Madrid Firefighters, SAMUR, Municipal Police, SUMMA 112 and National Police have been working at the scene since they received the notice around 2:30 p.m. this Tuesday.
The information has spread through social networks with images of the fire captured by students who are in the area. For now, the City Council points out, the gas has been allowed to burn so that it burns and prevents another explosion. The surrounding streets are closed for safety and the Education Faculty of the Complutense University, which is located near where the fire occurred, has begun to evacuate shortly after cutting the streets.
