On the Vresselseweg in Sint-Oedenrode, a fire raged on Saturday afternoon at a farmhouse with a thatched roof.
“There are two buildings in this yard. I think the fire is not raging in the living area, but I’m not sure,” says the 112 correspondent. According to him, one of the two buildings is ‘completely on fire’.
Thatched roof team
The fire was discovered around noon on Saturday. Three fire engines were called out due to the blaze.
Because of the thatched roof, a so-called thatched roof team also comes from Gelderland to Sint-Oedenrode. That team specializes in fighting fires in thatched roofs.
