A Finnish skier fell ill at the World Cup

On Sunday, the 10 km races will be held at the Östersund World Cup. Skiing style is free.

The Ski Federation announced on Saturday evening that there is an illness in the Finnish team. Vilma Ryyttya will not be seen at the starting line on Sunday.

– Vilma Ryytty has fallen ill and will not compete in tomorrow’s 10 km intermediate start competition, the Ski Federation wrote.

22-year-old Ryytty competed in both the Ruka and Jällivaara World Cups. A week ago in Jällivaara, he finished 30th in the 10 km intermediate start race.

In Östersund, there are women at the starting line Anne Kyllönen, Johanna Matintalo, Kerttu Niskanen, Tiia Olkkonen and Eveliina Piippo.

Men participate in the race Miro Karpanen, Lauri Lepistö, Remi Lindholm, Joni Mäki, Iivo Niskanen and Lauri Vuorinen.
