Social media influencer Mikael Renwall says that he had to be hospitalized due to an overdose of paracetamol.
Renwall tells at length in his Instagram update that he had a tonsil operation about a week ago.

Renwall says that painkillers are typically a “last resort” for him. Now the doctor had given him a prescription for stronger drugs than he was used to.
– I already found “familiar and safe” strong buranos and panadol at home, which I thought I would use up first. When the pain got worse, I grabbed these guys every four hours, which you can also find on the pharmacy’s self-service shelf – of course, the over-the-counter ones would be half the concentration.
Renwall ended up unwittingly medicating himself with too high doses.
– Apparently six grams of paracetamol per day for several days is double what it should be, Renwall writes.
At her husband’s urging, Renwall called the poison control center, where she was immediately directed to the emergency room. In the emergency room, blood tests were taken from Renwall and he was started on both a stomach protection medicine and an antidote to paracetamol. Renwall’s throat was still bloody from the operation.
– The doctor sighed with relief: the blood values and liver were fine, but luckily I showed up. That amount is not far from serious liver damage, which in the worst case can take a person’s life.
– If I didn’t know, now I know and I hope that someone else will learn from my mistake: always read the instructions of the medicines and if you make a mistake, dare to ask for help. You can accidentally take too much of anything, even if the intention is good – in water, vitamins and trace elements, but especially in medicines, Renwall writes.
Renwall has shared pictures of himself in the hospital in his update. Plenty of encouraging comments have been left under the Instagram update.
– It’s wonderful that you say this out loud, because I’m sure that the exact same thing can happen to someone else! The most important thing is that you quickly got help for the situation and the best spouse when he gave the sos badges, a make-up artist and a drag artist Aarni Mikkola comment.
Renwall previously said in the stories of his Snapchat account that he took 800 milligrams of ibuprofen and 1000 milligrams of paracetamol about every four hours for his pain. Health Library according to the maximum dose of paracetamol for adults is 3000 milligrams per day.
