A fight in L’Hospitalet ends with a man without an arm after an attack with a katana

A man attacked another on Tuesday armed with a katana, as some witnesses explained to the police, and ripped off his arm. Police sources explain that the events occurred in the morning, when “two people who were in a busy place argued and one of them injured the other.”

The fight, as detailed by the Mossos d’Esquadra, took place in a busy premises by homeless people on Pedraforca street in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelonès), in a space where “vulnerable people” live.

The Mossos have identified the aggressor but still they couldn’t stop him, according to the Catalan police, which also indicates that the perpetrator has no known address. For its part, according to Europa Press, the victim was transferred to the Vall d’Hebron Hospital from Barcelona.
