Finland lost to Slovakia in the EC opener in straight three sets. The women’s national volleyball team opened the European Championships on Thursday in Tallinn with a loss to Slovakia. There was no doubt about the winner, as Slovakia, who played as the pre-favorite, was better in three straight sets with a final score of 3–0.
