A disappointed Käärijä admits that he is a bad loser: “It’s a bit of a sad feeling”

Käärijä, who set out to win, did not hide his disappointment when the results were revealed.

Käärijä made a historic achievement by placing second in Eurovision. However, the result was disappointing for many, not least for Käärijä himself.

– To be honest, it’s sad. What I set out to seek was victory. You have to be proud of this performance, a really great performance with a Finnish song.

– It’s a bit of a sad feeling, but life goes on, this is not so serious, Käärijä says about an hour and a half after the victory was decided.

However, the atmosphere in the back room had become boisterous.

– Champagne was spilled there. I wanted to thank everyone who has been involved in this work.

The wrapper profusely shares his thanks and reminds, as he has done during the whole saga, that nothing is solely his merit, but the honor belongs to the whole team.

The second place still won.

– I’m a really bad loser, I’ll admit that. Maybe tomorrow I will understand everything better.

The story continues after the picture.

Despite the disappointment, a wrapper-like smile broke out from the wrapper. Mari Pudas

The wrapper didn’t explain that the audience loved it, but the judges didn’t.

– Rules are rules. It doesn’t help to sulk or play with your mouth. Sad, of course.

The wrapper sends his congratulations to Loreen, the winner of the show, whom he described as a great person.

– I love Loreen.

Cha Cha chat was shouted loudly in the arena when points were awarded in the arena.

– It felt good, but at the point when you realize you can’t win, it doesn’t make you feel better. I told everyone I would win this. I didn’t win, I’m a bit disappointed.

The wrapper says that he will spend his last night in Liverpool with his family and friends.

– I want to hug them and say that I love them.

The wrapper says he made good friends from Liverpool and a lot of good experience at Eurovision. He did not rule out that he would be seen again at Eurovision in some form.

He has definite plans when he gets home.

– I’m going to sleep under the formula sheets, Käärijä laughs.
