The Digital and Population Data Agency (DVV) warns of fraudulent messages that are circulating in the name of Suomi.fi, among others. According to DVV, the scam messages in circulation may tell, for example, about the completion of an automatic tax refund. The message provides a temporary password that can be used to view a summary of the tax refund. There are also messages about a new message that has arrived on the Suomi.fi platform. According to DVV, these messages have come from the address [email protected] or other similar addresses ending in @info.fi imitating Suomi.fi.
