The Mossos d’Esquadra of the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) have arrested a man and a woman, a sentimental couple, on Tuesday for their alleged involvement in the death of his son, a three-month-old baby, in the town of Artesa de Segre, in Lleida.
As reported by the police force, the events occurred this Monday, shortly before seven in the morning, when a notice was received that the members of the Emergency Medical System (SEM) were taking care of a three month old baby that presented a cardiorespiratory arrest.
Medical teams tried to revive the baby, but their efforts were insufficient and the baby eventually died.
