A confusing sight before the Jokers’ match – “Finns play district games”

The Helsinki Jokerit will make Mestis history on Friday when they face Kiekko-Vantaa at the Helsinki Ice Hall.

The hall can hold 8,200 spectators and Jokerit said on Thursday that they sold out the match. It means that the Jokerit sets a record for the attendance of a single Mestis match.

On Friday evening, a video was published on the social media messaging service X, where the spectators who came to watch the match are queuing to enter. People spin in circles while waiting in the hall’s yard.
