For lovers of rousing, handmade and ‘acoustic’ live music, the finest art of songwriting and folk music beyond the usual clichés, Lüdenscheid has developed from an insider tip to a stronghold with a national reputation over the past 20 years – because the cultural association KALLE eV has been inviting people to the Folkpack concert series since 1999. Thousands of enthusiastic music fans, who don’t shy away from the longest journeys, experienced great and great soloists, duos and bands from the top league of international singer-songwriter, folk, blues, folk-rock and world music in more than 60 concerts . The artists often travel exclusively to Germany from England, Scotland, Ireland and the USA. Since 2008, KALLE eV has been cooperating with great success on the Folkpack concerts with the Kulturhaus Lüdenscheid, which offers the perfect conditions for atmospheric concerts.

UPDATE from January 10th
We tried until the last, but it is inevitable: ‘Le Vent de Nord’ are forced to cancel their European concerts planned for January. In addition to our concert, one at the ‘Celtic Connections’ festival in Glasgow a few days later is also affected. Our thoughts are with the musicians of the great band.
We are already trying again to find a catch-up date. Tickets purchased for January 16 remain valid until further notice.
Until then, we’re really looking forward to it JohnSmith, who will join us as part of his European tour (with only three concerts in Germany) on Saturday March 12th.
