The actor who starred in the Harry Potter films Miriam Margolyes told about his thoughts regarding his late actor colleague in an interview with the British Radio 4 channel Robbie Coltrane. Coltrane’s death was announced last Friday, and the news was received by the world with broken hearts.

Coltrane, who played the beloved Hagrid in the Harry Potter films, was an important colleague for Margolyes.

– I am furious that he is dead, what a waste. He was an extraordinary person and I am truly saddened.

Coltrane’s agent announced last week that Coltrane had died in a Scottish hospital. However, the cause of the actor’s death was not made public.

Margolyes said in a radio interview that at least he had no prior information that Coltrane was ill.

– I didn’t know he was sick! He gained too much weight, what a silly boy! Margolyes stated.

At the same time, the actor said that he had already talked to his late colleague about his weight gain.

– I used to shake my finger at him (related to weight gain).

Coltrane spent his last days in Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Scotland. Last week, the actor’s family thanked the hospital staff for their work for Coltrane.
