A close battle ends in a huge disappointment – They had to leave the Amazing Race

Amazing Race Finland – there were enough twists and turns in the third episode of the program. The contestants traveled from Thailand to Vietnam to Ho Chi Minh City. Their tasks were to ride the local cyclo bike, make clay bowls and fish for shrimps.

Lotta and Nora Hintsa had to leave the competition prematurely, because health concerns plagued the sisters and the doctor ordered them to rest.

The Häntäpää pairs arrived at the finish line right next to each other. MP Ilmari Nurminen and Apo-spouse and actress Katariina Kaitue’s son Benjamin’s with.

– That’s how small the difference was! Ilmari was amazed in the episode.

– Today was not our day, Benjamin summed up.

Both Ilmari and Aapo and Katariina and Benjamin hoped that the second pair would not be eliminated in the episode, because the Hints interrupted the competition.

However, Paasose had bad news for the couples.

– The situation now is that since Lotta and Noora have left the race, couple number nine will be eliminated from the game. Ilmari and Aapo managed to do this a couple of minutes before you, so they are couple number eight and that means that your race, unfortunately, ends here, Heikki said to Katariina and Benjamin.

Katariina and Benjamin were visibly disappointed with the end result.

– We’ve had a lot of fun. And these people, who are involved in this – we have become a kind of family, Katariina stated in the episode.

– Even in this short time, he has gained a lot from this trip and it is with a heavy heart that I leave this group behind and wish them as much luck as possible for that final crunch and towards the final, Benjamin complimented his mother.
