A breakdown in the catenary between Toredembarra and Vila-seca has left a hundred travelers trapped in the convoys for more than an hour and a half.
The ruling has affected the circulation of lines R8, R17 and RT2.
In the case of the R8 line, the traffic cut occurred between Rubí and Granollers, and the cause was a technical incident. For this reason there are also delays to the R2 north and R11 lines, reports Civil Protection.
On lines R17 and RT2, the circulation cut has occurred between Tarragona and Torredembarra, and the cause is a cut to the catenary, explains Renfe. In both cases, Civil Protection has activated the pre-alert phase of the Ferrocat emergency plan.
