The Sitges Local Police (Garraf) has arrested a 28-year-old man this Friday morning for alleged gender violence. The events took place in a hotel in the municipality.

According to the security body, a person has reported shortly before three in the morning that he felt blows and screams in one of the rooms. The agents have gone to the hotel and, according to what they indicate, they have found evidence of assault inside the room and injuries to the victim, a 31-year-old woman.
The body also explains that the man has shown resistance to being arrested, for which he attributes a crime of resistance and serious disobedience to the agents of the authority. The alleged aggressor has been transferred to Vilanova i la Geltrú while waiting to be brought to justice.
