Romanian bodybuilder Catalin Stefanescu drowned last week Sunday in Lake Lazuri in Romania in a mysterious way.
The man had gone to the lake to fish with his friend. In the middle of the trip, Stefanescu’s friend had visited home and then returned back to the lake, where a shocking surprise awaited: Stefanescu’s body. The man had drowned in the lake, which was less than a meter deep.
The ambulance was still called, but nothing could be done. Stefanescu was pronounced dead at the scene. The police are investigating the case.
Stefanescu was just turning 29 years old. A family-oriented man will be missed especially by his wife and daughter.
The bodybuilder who competed in the over 180 cm men’s category won, among other things, the national championship in his home country.
