A cat was in a plight in Meppel tonight. The pet got stuck between two buildings in the city center.
According to the owner, the cat had jumped off the balcony and then got stuck in the narrow space between two buildings. The fire brigade had to be used to save the animal. A piece of sheet metal at a store was removed to get to the cat.
After a while the firefighters, together with the owner, succeeded in free the cat. The animal makes up for it.
