A delegation of Boerenbond, ABS, green circle and the local action committee ‘No job through our polders’ handed over a symbolic gift to the deputation.
The action committee wanted to point out how “the 1,194 objections are swept off the table, just like advice and a study”.
“The provincial council is ignoring everything,” said a campaigner. “Mayor of Middelkerke Jean-Marie Dedecker gets his battle at home with the help of the N-VA.”
The activists also spoke of ‘cow trade’ and put a lifelike cow at the entrance of the Boeverbos.
