Ozzy Osbourne has officially confirmed that he will perform sitting on a throne at the very last Black Sabbath appearance. No even on a flying throne.

The farewell concert titled as “Back to the Beginning” will take place on July 5th in Villa Park Stadion in Birmingham (England). Black Sabbath return to her place of origin. And offer your “Prince of Darkness” a majestic, albeit more sitting.

Despite health setbacks: Ozzy is on stage again

The 76-year-old Osbourne, who has struggled with health problems such as Parkinson’s and spine and neck injuries in recent years, is fighting. He now occasionally uses a wheelchair, but he wants to give everything for this special moment.

“I feel like a tour”

His long -time guitarist and companion Zakk Wylde showed through in an interview with Reiff X’s Metal XS that the appearance becomes spectacular. Possibly with a flying throne above the stadium.

“With OZ and his throne, which flies through the stadium, water splashes over the crowd and all of this – it will be an unforgettable moment,” said Wylde. “When Ozzy then says: ‘I feel like a tour’, then we just start the machine again.”

Wysr on: “Ozzy just sat there, sang ‘Mama, I’m coming home’ – and it sounded great. If everything goes well, it may really go on tour again.”

The metal event of the year? Black Sabbath, Metallica, Slayer and Guns N ‘Roses

Although Ozzy will not play a complete Black Sabbath set, fans can look forward to some moments of surprise. He himself said “Ozzy Speak” in his Siriusxm show:

“I don’t plan a full appearance with Black Sabbath. But I will be there here and there. I do what I can do – where I feel comfortable.”

In addition to Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Guns N ‘Roses, Slayer, Anthrax, Pantera, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Alice in Chains, Halestorm and Gojira have also been announced at the festival.
