It seems that there has been a drama behind the front door of a house De Nollekenshoeve in Helmond. On Saturday a seriously injured woman was found in the house. Local residents don’t look up. “We saw it coming, but not in the fierce way it has finished now,” says one of the immediate neighbors.

Also Sunday morning there is a lot of police on their feet at the house on the Nollekenshoeve in Helmond, where the victim was found with serious injury the morning before.

The technical investigation continues unabated with research into what exactly happened in the home. Local residents are not surprised: “That things would go wrong once, that was absolutely clear.”

On Saturday morning around eight o’clock it was reported to the police that a seriously injured woman was in the house. The moment the police found her, there were no other people in the house.

The woman was transferred to the trauma center of the Elisabeth-TweeSteden Hospital in Tilburg. A man has been arrested. The police cannot say anything about this suspect, except ‘that he did not stay in the house’.

Noise and bone
According to the local resident, the woman lived alone in the house. There would have been police at the door more often. “We have had to call 112 more often due to nuisance, in the evening or at night. Then there was noise, banging, or a window was smashed.”

House guarded
Part of the street was dropped off on Saturday for forensic research. Researchers in white suits walked in and out of the house. The front door is sealed. According to local residents, the house would also be guarded by the police on Saturday.

The spokesperson indicated on Saturday evening that it is not yet clear whether there is a crime. Nothing was announced about the ages of the victim and the arrested man. Even and how the two know each other is not clear.
